We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Backend Developer Intern to join our team. As a Backend Developer Intern, you will be an integral part of our remote internship program, contributing to the development and maintenance of Grull's platform. This role involves implementing back-end features, collaborating with databases and APIs, and ensuring seamless integration with front-end and full-stack developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Back-End Development: Actively participate in the implementation of back-end features to enhance the functionality of Grull's platform.
- MERN Stack Expertise: Leverage your familiarity with the MERN stack to contribute to the development and optimization of our platform.
- AWS Knowledge: While not mandatory, familiarity with AWS is considered a plus, bringing added value to our cloud-based projects.
- Python and API Building: Utilize your proficiency in Python and API building to create efficient and scalable solutions for our platform.
- Integration Understanding: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all system components, fostering efficient communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Apply your experience in OOP to create robust and maintainable code.
- Front-End Understanding: Have a foundational understanding of front-end development to facilitate effective collaboration with front-end and full-stack developers.
- Programming Proficiency: Showcase strong programming skills in executing tasks related to back-end development.
- Remote Collaboration: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, remotely, and collaboratively with a diverse team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Database Management and Cloud Computing: Although not mandatory, experience with database management, server deployment and maintenance, and cloud computing is considered a plus.
Qualifications:
- Proven interest and skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
- Familiarity with the MERN Stack.
- Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python and API building.
- Understanding of integrations.
- Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development.
- Strong Programming skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Experience with database management, server deployment and maintenance, and cloud computing is a plus.
